Gym GPT ("the app") is a fitness planning and workout tracking app. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.
Information you enter in the app - including your name, body stats (weight, height, age), fitness goals, training preferences, workout activity, progress check-ins, and coach chats - is handled locally on your device. Except for the AI coach processing described below, it is not uploaded to a server operated by us, and we cannot see it.
When you chat with the AI coach and an internet connection is available, your chat messages and relevant profile context (such as your name, goal, training plan, and recent stats) are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our AI relay service, which forwards them to an AI language-model provider to generate a reply. These messages are processed to produce the response and are not used by us to build a profile of you. If you are offline, or the online coach is unavailable, the app uses a built-in offline coach and no data leaves your device.
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details; Google's own privacy policy applies to the payment transaction.
Because all personal data lives on your device, uninstalling the app (or clearing its storage in Android settings) permanently deletes it.
Gym GPT is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
